NENA: The 9-1-1 Association

NENA: The 9-1-1 Association is a nonprofit professional association that describes itself as "The Voice of 9-1-1™." NENA focuses exclusively on 9-1-1 policy, technology, operations, education, and the advancement of emergency communications. The organization "improves 9-1-1 through research, standards development, training, education, outreach, and advocacy" and works with 9-1-1 professionals, public policy leaders, emergency services, and telecommunications industry partners to develop standards, training, and Next Generation 9-1-1 solutions.
