Rooted in the spirit of Puerto Rico, De Aquí, Pa'l Mundo celebrates what happens when knowledge grounded in our communities is shared beyond them. This NeighborWorks Training Institute (NTI) brings together professionals to exchange knowledge, and leave with new skills, relationships, and approaches that strengthen their organizations and communities. The event will be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from Feb. 15-19, 2027, offering updated or newly designed sessions on communication, microenterprise, fair housing, and coaching skills. Beyond classroom hours, additional growth opportunities are provided through hot-topic workshops and interactive activities that foster peer learning and professional networking. The Institute offers more than 65 courses and other events such as an opening plenary and signature convenings. Courses reflect evolving needs in fields like Mobilizing Youth for Community Building, Building AI Strategy in Community Development Organizations, and Organizing Neighborhoods for Emergency Response. Attendees will explore housing, economic, and community dynamics firsthand, including how these are reflected in San Juan's historic neighborhoods and across the island.
