Nebraska Water Environment Association

The Nebraska Water Environment Association (NWEA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting Nebraska's water quality and is a member association of the Water Environment Federation (WEF®). NWEA actively organizes and hosts multiple annual conferences, including the Great Plain Conference, Heartland Operators Conference, and a Joint Fall Conference. These events are often held in partnership with other organizations such as the Nebraska Chapters of the American Water Works Association (AWWA), American Public Works Association (APWA), and the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA), demonstrating its role as a City - Utilities Operations Conference Organizer.
