National Public Employer Labor Relations Association (NPELRA) Annual Training Conference

National Public Employer Labor Relations Association (NPELRA) is a professional association that organizes an Annual Training Conference (ATC). The 2024 ATC was held in Savannah, GA (April 7–10, 2024) at the Savannah Convention Center with pre/post programming at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. The conference is run by National PELRA’s Board and Annual Training Conference Committee, targets public-sector labor relations and human resources practitioners, and features concurrent sessions, plenaries, and networking—topics relevant to municipal HR, labor relations, and public administration (city managers and local government HR/management audiences). While NPELRA focuses on public employer labor relations and HR rather than being an ICMA-equivalent city management association, its ATC serves municipal governance stakeholders (city managers, HR directors, labor relations specialists) and covers municipal governance/administration-adjacent topics.
