About National Forum for Black Public Administrators
The National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) is an independent, nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1983 that advances public leadership in local and state governments. It has over 2,500 members — leaders and managers of public programs and agencies in more than 350 jurisdictions — and 42 local chapters, and is known for leadership-development initiatives and its annual FORUM conference (FORUM 2026 registration is open for March 7–12, 2026 in Philadelphia).
