National Emergency Number Association

NENA: The 9-1-1 Association is a not-for-profit membership organization that improves 9-1-1 through research, standards development, training, education, outreach, and advocacy. It represents more than 19,000 members across multiple chapters, including public-safety telecommunicators, PSAPs, state 9-1-1 administrators, and industry partners. Recently NENA has produced active standards work (for example, a revision to the E9-1-1 PSAP Equipment Standard and public-review postings for NG9-1-1 GIS and 9-1-1 notification standards).
