National Council of University Research Administrators

NCURA (National Council of University Research Administrators) is a non-profit professional society founded in 1959 that advances the profession of research administration through education and professional development programs and knowledge sharing. It has over 9,000 individual members from more than 1,100 colleges, universities, teaching hospitals, and research institutes across roughly 40 countries. In recent years NCURA has expanded international engagement through Global Initiatives (e.g., Finland–U.S. Research Security and Partnership-Building Forum / ERIS program) while continuing to host annual meetings, workshops, and training for research administrators.
