National Center for Pavement Preservation

The National Center for Pavement Preservation (NCPP) was established by Michigan State University and the Foundation for Pavement Preservation to lead collaborative efforts among government, industry, and academia to advance pavement (and bridge) preservation through education, research, and outreach. Founded in 2003 and expanded to include bridge preservation and equipment management, NCPP supports owner agencies (including AASHTO member state DOTs and local agencies) with training, technical resources, regional partnerships, innovation demonstrations, and national conferences (e.g., the 2024 National Bridge Preservation Conference).
