About
About National Black Professional Lobbyists Association (now National Professional Lobbyists Association)
The National Black Professional Lobbyists Association (NBPLA), now rebranded as the National Professional Lobbyists Association (NPLA), is a nonprofit organization representing Black/state-focused professional lobbyists. It organizes events and programming relevant to state government and legislative audiences (e.g., Annual Legislative Roll Call, sponsored events and summits), and produces conferences and member events focusing on state legislative affairs and government relations. Evidence shows NBPLA/NPLA runs events in partnership with state legislative organizations and offers sponsor/attendee-facing conference materials, indicating it functions as a conference organizer serving state government audiences.
