National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators

The National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit association that provides professional development, information, and legislative/regulatory analysis for financial aid administrators nationwide. Its membership comprises more than 29,000 financial aid professionals at nearly 3,000 colleges, universities, and career schools, and NASFAA member institutions serve nine out of every 10 undergraduates in the United States. In 2025 NASFAA published the 2025 National Student Aid Profile, released surveys highlighting administrative burdens on financial aid offices, and announced Melanie Storey as NASFAA’s President & CEO in March 2025, demonstrating active advocacy and leadership developments.
