National Association of State Workforce Agencies

The National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) is the national organization representing all 50 state workforce agencies, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories. Its mission is to enhance state workforce agencies’ ability to accomplish their statutory roles and responsibilities by providing policy expertise, sharing promising state practices, and promoting state innovation; NASWA manages programs such as the National Labor Exchange (NLx), the UI Integrity Center, SIDES, and the Multistate Data Collaborative. Recent notable activities include publishing the 2025 State of the Workforce report and convening the 2025 UI Integrity Symposium.
