About
About National Association of State Park Directors (NASPD)
The National Association of State Park Directors (NASPD) is a national membership organization representing state park directors and state park systems. NASPD organizes an annual national conference (variously titled "NASPD Conference" or "National Association of State Park Directors Conference") bringing together state park directors, deputy directors, managers, staff, vendors, and partners for professional development, awards, and networking. Conference hosts rotate among state park systems (example: 2025 conference in West Virginia; 2026 conference hosted by Louisiana). The organization's mission focuses on promoting and advancing state park systems and their contributions to environment, heritage, health, and economy, consistent with an organizer of sector-specific government/agency conferences.
