National Association of Disability Examiners

NADE (National Association of Disability Examiners) is a professional association of disability adjudication personnel — examiners, administrators, physicians, support staff and others — primarily serving State Disability Determination Services and engaging with the Social Security Administration. Its mission is to improve the disability programs incorporated under the Social Security Act by developing recommendations, promoting professional development (publishing The Advocate and hosting regional and national training conferences), and ensuring timely, effective, quality public service; recent site content (news and 2025 conference materials) shows ongoing activity and training offerings.
