National Association of Clean Water Agencies

NACWA (the National Association of Clean Water Agencies) is the national association that represents publicly owned clean water utilities and serves as their advocacy voice on legislative, regulatory, legal, and communications matters. Its membership consists of public clean water utilities working to protect public health and provide clean, safe water, and NACWA runs sector campaigns and policy work on issues such as infrastructure funding, PFAS, biosolids, climate resilience, and the "Toilets Are Not Trashcans" campaign. Recently NACWA released its 2025 Annual Report highlighting its advocacy efforts and member achievements.
