The NASCSP 2027 Winter Training Conference will bring high-quality content, peer exchange, and meaningful connections into a new, thoughtfully designed three-day format. State administrators, state associations, eligible entities, and other professionals will come together for a valuable learning experience focused on navigating challenges, strengthening performance, and advancing innovation and accountability in efforts to address poverty nationwide. This year’s theme, United for Impact: Purpose in Practice, reflects the power of working together to turn shared commitments into meaningful results. In our nation’s capital, we will explore how collaboration, practical strategies, and effective use of resources can strengthen the CSBG and WAP networks and improve outcomes for the communities we serve. Throughout the conference, attendees will engage in dynamic sessions, peer learning opportunities, and important conversations that connect ideas to action. The three-day experience is designed to help participants build knowledge, share promising practices, and gain practical tools they can bring back to their work. Whether you are a longtime leader or new to the network, you will find opportunities to learn from colleagues, develop partnerships, and collaborate on solutions to shared challenges. We are seeking presenters who can offer actionable insights, share valuable resources, elevate lived experience, and lead engaging discussions that help attendees strengthen programs and improve outcomes for low-income individuals and families. We welcome proposals focused on the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), and cross-cutting topics relevant to both programs.
