National Academy for State Health Policy

NASHP (National Academy for State Health Policy) is a nonpartisan organization of, by, and for state policymakers that for over 35 years has supported state health policy innovation, research, and implementation. NASHP convenes state leaders across executive and legislative branches, conducts policy analyses, disseminates state-focused evidence and tools, and provides technical assistance to help states design and implement high-quality, affordable health care; recent work includes convening annual conferences and producing state-focused resources (e.g., NASHP’s 2025 Annual Conference on strengthening rural health) and efforts to elevate state perspectives at the federal level.
