NASIG (formerly North American Serials Interest Group)

NASIG (originally North American Serials Interest Group), now branded NASIG, is a professional association that organizes an annual conference and other continuing education events focused on serials, electronic resources, scholarly communication, and library technical services. Its membership includes librarians, publishers, vendors, and others involved in the information resources lifecycle. NASIG’s conferences and programming address library technology, academic library workflows, and library services; they attract library directors, serials and electronic resources specialists, and related professionals. While NASIG is not ALA, it is a recognized library conference organizer relevant to the user’s terms (library conference, library technology, academic libraries, library services).
