Missouri School Boards’ Association’s (MSBA) Center for Education Safety

The FBI St. Louis School Safety Initiative, presented with MSBA's Center For Education Safety, is a conference focused on preventing violence in schools. It brings together school administrators, school staff, and law enforcement officers to raise awareness about behaviors that could indicate an individual is actively moving toward violence. The initiative aims to help schools prevent acts of violence, terrorism, and school shootings by identifying at-risk students early and diverting them from violence. Topics typically include pre-violence indicators, building school threat assessment teams, student mental health, crisis intervention resources, hoax and swatting threats, sextortion, and the physical security of schools.
