About Missouri Association of Fire Protection Districts
The Missouri Association of Fire Protection Districts (MAFPD) is a Missouri-based nonprofit association established in 1990. Its mission is to represent and support Missouri fire districts by providing information, training, education, and leadership. MAFPD hosts an annual conference each June at Margaritaville Lake Resort, offering education for fire chiefs, firefighters, training officers, fire marshals, EMTs, and other personnel. The conference also features exhibitors and certified board training sessions. MAFPD promotes statewide training opportunities and provides resources for certified board training and other educational programs on its website.
