Mid Atlantic Life Safety Conference

The Mid-Atlantic Life Safety Conference (MALSC) is an annual event providing professional training to Fire and Emergency Services personnel in Maryland and surrounding jurisdictions. The 67th annual conference focuses on fire prevention, code enforcement, fire investigations, emergency medical care, and emergency management. It brings together fire and life safety professionals from the Mid-Atlantic Region, offering educational and keynote sessions on current life safety and community risk reduction topics. The conference upholds a mandate from the Maryland State Fire Prevention Commission to inform on fire prevention techniques, life safety measures, state fire prevention code changes, and improved fire safety goals, continuing a tradition started in 1959 by Maryland Governor J. Millard Tawes.
