The Louisiana Emergency Preparedness Association (LEPA) is hosting its Fall Meeting for emergency preparedness and response practitioners. LEPA is a non-profit statewide organization dedicated to improving public safety in emergencies by promoting the exchange of ideas and best practices, improving working relationships, and advancing the profession of emergency management and preparedness. The meeting is targeted at individuals involved in emergency preparedness, Homeland Security, or response activities from local, parish (county), state, and federal government agencies, business and industry, and volunteer organizations. About Louisiana Emergency Preparedness Association
The Louisiana Emergency Preparedness Association (LEPA), founded in 1980, is a non-profit statewide organization for emergency preparedness and response practitioners in Louisiana. It serves professionals in emergency management, public safety, and related government and private sectors. LEPA administers the Louisiana Emergency Manager (LEM) certification, hosts an annual conference (including co-hosting the Louisiana Emergency Management Conference/LEMC), and provides training and information exchange forums.
