Housing Assistance Council (HAC)

Join us for the 2026 Affordable Housing for Rural Veterans National Symposium in Atlanta, GA. The event will explore the impact of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act on the nation's housing market, with a focus on federal housing programs, veteran homeownership, housing assistance, rural housing, housing supply, and the coordination of HUD, USDA, and VA housing programs. Discussions will cover how public, philanthropic, private, and community investments can align to address housing needs and expand opportunities, particularly for veterans in rural communities. Participants will explore innovative approaches, emerging opportunities, and practical strategies for serving veterans across rental housing, housing stability, homeownership, housing development, and preservation.
