Florida International University

Florida International University (FIU) is a large public research university in Miami that conducts research and hosts events related to technology and cybersecurity through its colleges (e.g., School of Computing and Information Sciences), research offices, and university events calendar. While FIU is not primarily known as the organizer of national higher-ed cybersecurity conferences (such as EDUCAUSE Cybersecurity & Privacy Professionals Conference or REN-ISAC events), it is a relevant regional organizer/participant for campus cybersecurity, identity management, university security, and student data privacy/FERPA topics through campus units, conferences, and partnerships.
