About Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program
The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) is a government-wide initiative under the General Services Administration (GSA)'s Technology Transformation Services. Its mission is to provide a standardized approach for security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring of cloud products and services, enabling federal agencies to securely adopt modern cloud technologies. Recently, FedRAMP has focused on initiatives such as Rev 5 Agency Authorization and FedRAMP 20x, which aims to develop a new cloud-native approach to authorization.
