About Digital Government Society
The Digital Government Society (DGS) is a global, multidisciplinary organization of scholars and practitioners focused on the development and impacts of digital government. It supports academics, government professionals, and students through membership services and the annual dg.o conference (including travel grants) and related networking and scholarship; recent activity includes dg.o 2025 in Porto Alegre (noted as the first such gathering in the Global South) and an announced venue for dg.o 2027 at Seoul National University of Science and Technology.
