Council of Administrators of Special Education

CASE (Council of Administrators of Special Education) is an international nonprofit professional organization and the largest division of the Council for Exceptional Children, providing leadership, advocacy, and professional development to more than 6,000 administrators responsible for implementation of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504. CASE leads national policy efforts (for example, it established and leads the national IDEA Implementation Coalition), hosts major conferences and year-round professional learning, and recently celebrated a successful CASE Conference and partnered with COPAA on IDEA-related initiatives.
