Council for Tribal Employment Rights (CTER)

The Council for Tribal Employment Rights (CTER) is a national nonprofit organization (TERO-focused) that organizes the annual National TERO Conference and other events focused on tribal employment rights, Indian preference, and legal/update topics relevant to tribal employment and tribal programs. Their activities include hosting conferences that cover tribal employment, tribal programs, compliance, and related topics; while not strictly a federal grants conference organizer, CTER events overlap with tribal grants management, federal programs compliance and BIA-funded program administration through training and legal updates relevant for tribal employment and program administrators.
