Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc.

Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc. (C.O.P.S.) is a national nonprofit organization that actively organizes conferences and training programs focused on law enforcement wellness, trauma, and support for survivors. Their offerings include an annual "National Conference on Law Enforcement Wellness & Trauma," which is attended by various law enforcement personnel such as officers, sheriffs, police chiefs, peer support officers, mental health professionals, and dispatchers, as well as surviving family members. C.O.P.S. also hosts other events like the "Surviving to Thriving" conference, survivor weekends/camps, and various trainings and special events. The national conference, scheduled for November 5th-8th, 2026, at the Sheraton San Diego Resort, demonstrates their capacity to organize large-scale events relevant to public safety, first responders, and emergency management.
