Community Behavioral Healthcare Association of Illinois (CBHA)

The Community Behavioral Healthcare Association will host its Winter Conference, CBHACON26, on December 3-4, 2026. This year's conference will be held at Hilton Chicago / Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center. The theme is "Rising to the Moment: Steadfast in Values, Focused on the Future." The conference aims to explore how community behavioral healthcare can leverage its core values to foster progress and innovation, especially in the face of current challenges such as an uncertain Medicaid funding future. Presenters are encouraged to address how the industry can improve the lives of vulnerable individuals in Illinois through inspiring and practical solutions. Topics of interest include innovative and emerging service models, clinical models for mental health (MH) and substance use disorders (SUD), Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs), strategies for addressing workforce crises, innovative use of IT within organizations, and proposals aimed at systemic improvements in services and supports.
