Climate Change Preparedness Conference (CCPC) — May 20–22, 2026

The Climate Change Preparedness Conference unites leaders, experts, professionals, and advocates in climate change resilience practices. The three-day event brings together climate experts, government officials and policymakers at all levels, industry leaders including resilience officers and sustainability professionals, community organizers, youth advocates, researchers and academics, and other stakeholders from around the country to focus on adaptive solutions to foster climate resilience. Renowned global climate experts explore comprehensive climate change scenarios to investigate ways regions can adapt to reduce overall risk from extreme weather patterns and natural disasters like wildfires, floods, and drought. Participants will investigate the interrelated local, regional, and national impacts of climate change on water supply, food and agriculture, energy and natural resources, public health, infrastructure, biodiversity, and habitat. The conference will consider policy implications for land use, resource management, transportation, housing, and healthcare, and discuss strategies to strengthen vulnerable communities and promote environmental justice. The goal is to collectively develop attainable solutions to the climate crisis that can be applied at local, state, and federal levels, enabling all communities to thrive.
