CivStart

CivStart is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that connects startups, investors, industry experts and public-sector leaders to accelerate adoption of govtech through programs such as an accelerator, an Innovation Hub and a Venture Partner Network. Its mission is to provide the tools, networks and resources so local governments can best serve their communities by surfacing challenges, accelerating solutions, and supporting implementation. The board has approved a values-driven closeout of the nonprofit and the co-founders are transitioning core work toward CivStart Ventures.
