California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED)

The California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED) is a statewide professional economic development association founded in 1980. It organizes conferences, webinars, and training through the California Academy for Economic Development, including an annual conference (e.g., the 2026 CALED Annual Conference). CALED's membership comprises cities, counties, state agencies, economic development corporations, and private sector partners. Its programs address economic development topics such as financing, workforce, incentives, and policy, directly aligning with the user's search terms like economic development conference, business development, site selection, economic incentives, workforce attraction, and business retention. CALED regularly lists events, webinars, and calls for sessions, demonstrating its function as a conference organizer.
