The 2026 CalGovHR Annual Conference & Expo™ is a premier event for public sector HR professionals, drawing over 350 attendees from across California and beyond. Hosted by the Association for California Governmental Human Resources Professionals (CalGovHR), the conference aims to set the gold standard in California HR since 1988, with a theme of "Stronger Together." The event features legal updates, concurrent sessions on topics such as talent acquisition, benefits & wellness, labor relations, workers' compensation, investigations, succession planning, social media, and more. Attendees can expect comprehensive training in all areas of human resources, including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), annual employment law updates, and workers' compensation updates. The conference includes networking breakfasts, lunches, and a social/buffet dinner with live entertainment, providing real-life tools for agencies to implement best practices and build stronger HR teams.
