Association of Metropolitan Planning Organizations (AMPO)

The 2027 AMPO Annual Conference will convene planners from metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs) across the United States to discuss and advance critical aspects of transportation and community planning. Hosted by the East-West Gateway Council, the event will showcase the St. Louis region's significant planning achievements, including successful transportation infrastructure projects and impactful community investments. The Association of Metropolitan Planning Organizations (AMPO) supports over 450 MPOs nationwide, playing a pivotal role in guiding federal and state transportation funding investments.
