Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies

The Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies (AFWA) is a non-profit membership association that represents North American state, provincial, and territorial fish and wildlife agencies. AFWA organizes annual meetings and other conferences that convene state agency directors, program managers, and conservation leaders; it acts as a convener for state agency leadership and thus qualifies as a state government conference organizer for topics related to state agencies (natural resources, fish & wildlife). AFWA is not a governors' conference or legislature-focused organizer (e.g., CSG, NASCIO) but is directly relevant when the user's interest is state agency summits and state administrators in natural resource sectors.
