APPA – Leadership in Educational Facilities

APPA (branded “APPA – Leadership in Educational Facilities”) is the professional association for educational facilities leaders, serving higher education (including universities and community colleges), K–12 schools, and affiliated educational institutions. Its mission is to support educational excellence by equipping facilities professionals with leadership, knowledge, and community; it represents a network of more than 12,000 facilities professionals and offers benchmarking (FPI), credentialing (CEFP), professional development, publications, and events. Founded in 1914 and rebranded to its current branded name in 2007, APPA provides widely used operational guidelines, data, and training for the education facilities sector.
