The Florida Law Enforcement Property Recovery Unit (FLEPRU) 2026 Annual Training Conference is rapidly approaching, and we're preparing for one of our most impactful conferences yet. Investigators, detectives, analysts, prosecutors, retail asset protection professionals, and solution providers from across the country will come together to learn, collaborate, and build partnerships that make a difference. The conference serves as a platform for statewide training, engaging expert guest instructors including state legislators, judges, private sector executives, and subject matter experts. The curriculum focuses on contemporary challenges such as Organized Retail Crime (ORC), auto/marine investigations, social media investigations, economic/cybercrimes investigations, robbery investigations, interviewing & interrogation methods, and mental health topics for professionals. FLEPRU aims to build cooperative relationships among municipal, county, state, and federal law enforcement agencies and emphasizes public-private partnerships within the law enforcement and retail sectors to enhance property crime investigations and recovery, and to advocate for stringent legislation.
