61st Annual Illinois Emergency Services Management Association Summit

The 2027 IESMA Summit, themed "Building Resilient Communities," is an annual gathering focused on emergency services management. The program is structured around four key areas: Developing Partnerships (strengthening interagency coordination, public-private collaboration, and cross-discipline teamwork), Developing Volunteers (enhancing volunteer engagement, training, retention, and integration into emergency management operations), Developing Personal Resiliency (promoting individual well-being, mental health, and leadership sustainability within high-stress professions), and Incorporating Technology to Build Resilience (highlighting tools, platforms, and innovations that improve situational awareness, communication, and operational efficiency). A tentative agenda includes an EMAT Exercise and Pre-Summit Training, the Summit sessions, an Annual Membership Meeting, and an Executive Board Meeting.
