About this conference
The Organic Commodities & Livestock Conference (OCLC) is a free, one-day conference hosted each March by the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association and NC State. It is designed for growers of specialty crops, commodities, and pasture-based livestock, and for other growers, educators, extension agents, and agronomists from the Carolinas and beyond to learn, network, and explore opportunities in organic agriculture. Each year's conference features a full day of educational sessions, farm visits, research updates, panel discussions, and networking. The 2026 OCLC will be held at the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center in Pittsboro, North Carolina. This event is supported through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP), which is administered by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) National Organic Program (NOP).

Sponsorship opportunities include: Cultivator tier at $5,000 (includes 5 complimentary registrations, double booth with priority placement, large logo in promotional materials); Harvester tier at $2,500 (includes 3 complimentary registrations, standard booth with priority placement, medium logo in promotional materials); Pollinator tier at $1,000 (includes 2 complimentary registrations, standard booth, small logo in promotional materials). Exhibitor fees are $225 ($25 nonprofit discount, $15 electricity add-on, two exhibitor passes). The registration deadline for sponsors is Thursday, February 12, 2026.
