The OCEANS 2026 Monterey conference is for global maritime professionals to learn, innovate and lead in the protection and utilization of the world's largest natural resource -- our OCEANS. At OCEANS 2026 Monterey, industry thought leaders gather for four days to highlight relevant topics and current trends while creating a community of learners and influencers who consistently advance research, practices, and policies for the marine field. This year’s program places a strong focus on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in advancing ocean science and engineering. Attendees will learn how AI is being applied in areas such as autonomous systems, data modeling, ocean monitoring, and marine resource management. The theme is 'Oceans: Where Research and Development Make a Difference', highlighting the essential collaboration between industry, government, and academia in advancing solutions for our aquatic planet. It will feature technical papers, plenary sessions, exhibitors, student poster sessions, training sessions, workshops, demonstrations, government listening sessions, social and networking opportunities, and professional field trips.
