OACTE - CBI Division Spring Conference

The OACTE - CBI Division Spring Conference features a comprehensive program including registration with coffee and tea, a conference welcome with board member introductions, and interactive round table discussion groups covering topics such as strategies for new educators in grades 7-12, Knowledge Bowl, and Work-Based Learning (WBL) tracking and resources. The agenda also includes a regional business meeting, updates from the Ohio ACTE Executive Director and the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW), and an awards ceremony recognizing Partnership Awards, Scholarships, Gold Star Teachers, Knowledge Bowl achievements, and Hall of Honor inductees. Afternoon sessions feature two rounds of breakout discussions on diverse topics including classroom resources from Tiggbee and EverFi, insights from the State Teachers Retirement System, service learning strategies, Q&A with ODEW's Office of Career-Technical Education, and presentations on PortfolioOH.
