The NYSCMA Annual Conference and Training Program for 2026 focuses on educational training programs informed by membership surveys and outreach efforts. The curriculum covers a diverse range of topics including Social Media, AI, Leadership, Human Resources, practical innovations in areas such as curb management, piggybacking procurement, cooperative purchasing, and strategies for strengthening financial oversight, internal controls, compliance, and lessons from recent audits. Additionally, sessions will address crucial aspects of leadership such as combating burnout, improving wellbeing, navigating conflict, and promoting civility and consensus. The primary objective is to facilitate networking and connection among municipal officials and vendor sponsors throughout New York State, fostering the exchange of ideas, best practices, and expertise to benefit the municipalities they serve. Social engagements include an opening night reception and a private dinner cruise on Lake George.
