North Dakota Out-of-School Time Summit

The 2026 North Dakota Out-of-School Time Summit is a two-day event centered around rejuvenation, celebration, and behavior navigation, providing research-based practices, information, tools, and resources for out-of-school time professionals. Day 1 features keynote speaker Chase Mielke on preventing burnout and reigniting purpose, along with breakout sessions on executive function and building trust, belonging, and student success, and an exclusive pre-screening of the documentary "School's Out: How Out-of-School Time Programs are Shaping North Dakota's Youth." Day 2 includes Nicole Bassett (Safe and Civil Schools) presenting sessions on navigating student behavior, understanding behavior & setting expectations, and connecting while correcting.
