About this conference

CVSA's North American Inspectors Championship (NAIC) is the only event that tests, recognizes and awards commercial motor vehicle inspector excellence. Each jurisdiction is invited to send its best inspector to compete against other top inspectors from jurisdictions all across North America. NAIC competitors also receive training on the latest commercial motor vehicle safety trends, technologies, standards and inspection procedures while sharing insights, ideas, techniques and experiences with other inspectors. NAIC is held in the same location as and in conjunction with the American Trucking Associations' National Truck Driving Championships and National Step Van Driving Championships. The goal is to recognize inspectors and officers – the backbone of the commercial vehicle safety program in North America – and to promote uniformity of inspections through training and education.
