About this conference

The Nonprofit, Legal, Finance & Grants Conference merges the Nonprofit Finance & Grants Summit and the Washington Nonprofit Legal and Tax Conference from Webster Chamberlain & Bean LLP to offer a deeper, more diversified educational experience to the nonprofit sector. This expert-led, two-day intensive training event will be held in October 2026, in Washington, DC. The sixth annual combined conference features dynamic general sessions alongside three specialized tracks covering Nonprofit Legal Issues, Finance and Tax Guidance, and Federal Grants Compliance. Attendees may follow a single track or mix and match to tailor their learning. Registration includes access to the prestigious Nonprofit CFO Awards Reception, honoring nonprofit financial executives who exemplify operational excellence, innovative finance and management, and strong leadership dedicated to advancing accountability and financial reporting. Attendees will receive two days of expert-led, in-depth training on topics such as navigating shifts in nonprofit funding and donor retention, legal and accounting ethics, employment law updates, intellectual property, fraud prevention, adapting finance post-COVID, investing strategies, internal controls, compliance with procurement standards, and leveraging technology for financial management. The conference is designed for CFOs, CEOs, directors, comptrollers, counsel, and accountants of nonprofit organizations, as well as attorneys and accountants providing services to these sectors. Nonprofit sectors in attendance include foundations, associations, philanthropic, government, cultural, religious, health, educational, social welfare, civic, and fraternal organizations.

Sponsorship options

Sponsorships offer the opportunity to connect directly with the people who drive financial, legal, and operational strategy across the nonprofit sector, including CEOs, CFOs, grants managers, and board members. Sponsors will position their organization as a trusted partner and thought leader, strengthening relationships, generating qualified leads, and elevating their brand. Sponsorship also offers unparalleled visibility during the Nonprofit CFO Awards, held in conjunction with the conference on opening night. Additional sponsorship opportunities (exclusive and require event sponsorship) include Wifi Sponsorship ($5,000), Lunch Sponsorship ($3,500), Breakfast Sponsorship ($2,500), Champagne Toast Sponsorship ($2,000), and Rising Star Award Sponsorship ($2,000).
