The Forty-First NJIDA Fall Conference 2026, titled "Framing the Future: From Data to Dynamic Literacy Instruction," is dedicated to learning, networking, and fun. It focuses on understanding the International Dyslexia Association's (IDA) 2025 definition of dyslexia, its implications for identification, instruction, and support. The conference program includes sessions on advancing literacy through NJDOE updates and initiatives, the reading brain (typical and atypical development), confronting common myths in reading education, syntax instruction for students with language-based learning disabilities, using data to guide classroom literacy instruction, multisensory manipulative-based math (OG Math), constructing comprehension, the science of the spelling system, morphology, and best practices for teaching handwriting to students with dyslexia and dysgraphia. It features both in-person and virtual components with recorded sessions available for viewing.
