About this conference
The NJAHPERD Annual Convention is the premier event for professionals in the field of dance education, health education, physical education, physical activity, and recreation in the state of New Jersey. Each year, it hosts nearly 600 professionals and future professionals from around the state, offering close to 80 unique programs covering a wide variety of topics. These programs incorporate the most recent findings on how students engage in dance education, physical education, health education, and activity programs, showcasing the latest techniques employed by successful teachers and coaches from New Jersey and across the country. The convention also features a robust exhibit hall with over 35 vendors eager to discuss products and services that can assist in providing a quality and efficient environment for school communities. Attendees have a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful and constructive conversations, share ideas, and offer feedback to enhance current curriculum, instruction, and assessment strategies. The event also includes an awards ceremony to recognize master teachers, distinguished professionals, and outstanding future professionals.
