About this conference
The NHASEA 2026 Annual Winter Conference, hosted by the NH Association of Special Education Administrators, focuses on exploring possibilities and continuing the journey of inclusive education. Day 1, led by Liesl McConchie, addresses 'ALL Students CAN Learn - But They Aren't: How Leaders Can Support Teachers to Meet the 7 Hidden Needs of All Learners.' This session delves into brain research, inclusion, belonging, hope, high expectations, and relationships, and their impact on students' cognitive, physical, and mental health. The focus is on how leaders can design support systems for students based on these neurobiological needs. Day 2, 'Using Brain Science to Support Staff Thriving in a Challenging Landscape,' explores how leaders can create systems to support staff thriving by understanding the dominant drivers for teachers, ultimately enabling teachers to be at their best for students. Attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Liesl McConchie's book: 'Brain-Based Learning'.
