About this conference
The New Jersey State Firemen's Convention and Wildwood Expo is the annual gathering of the New Jersey State Firefighter's Association, an organization established in 1885 under New Jersey Statutes 43:17-1 et.seq. The Association comprises 534 Local Firefighter's Relief Associations, representing approximately 68,000 Career and Volunteer Firefighters from Fire Companies, Departments, or Fire Districts under Municipal control. This convention serves as a platform for delegates and life members to engage in voting sessions, elect executive committee members, and discuss the association's mission, which includes providing financial and other relief, such as burial benefits, to firefighters and their families. The Wildwood Expo component features an exhibit area, a golf tournament, and other related activities.
