New Administrators Institute for Middle Level and Secondary Principals-2026

This one-day event is available to administrators beginning the first year in their position, whether brand new or transitioning to a different role. Through participation in this institute, attendees will cultivate a professional learning network; connect with Area Education Agency Resources and identify their go-to people; set the foundation to pursue a quality leadership-life fit; access the expertise of practicing principals with their questions; ensure their licensure and their leadership practice are in alignment with the BoEE rules and regulations and the law; identify strategies and tools for working with challenging people; set the stage for effective teacher evaluation; gain tips and tricks to manage time and prioritize; recognize basic A.I. tools and how they can support their leadership; and revisit key legal considerations for the start of the year. This event is separate from the Mentoring Program.
